1. Overview

DaoDaily ("we", "our") provides a Chrome browser extension, this website, and a forthcoming mobile app. Our guiding principle is to collect as little data as possible — the Chrome extension collects none at all.

2. The Chrome Extension — zero data collection

  • No account, no sign-up, no email address required.
  • No analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifiers, no cookies.
  • Your settings (such as wallpaper and display preferences) are stored only in your own browser's local storage and never leave your device.
  • Daily verses and hexagram reflections are bundled inside the extension and work offline. When available, the extension may fetch public daily content from a read-only channel; these requests carry no account, identifier, or personal data.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share any personal information — we have none to share.

3. This Website

  • No cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels.
  • If you arrive with UTM campaign parameters (for example from our browser extension), they are stored only in your own browser's local storage to attribute your install later. They are not transmitted to us.
  • If you email us, we receive your email address and message content, and use them solely to respond to you.

4. The Mobile App (not yet released)

The DaoDaily mobile app has not been released. This section will be updated before launch to describe the data it processes (such as account sign-in and journal entries), the safeguards applied, and your choices. Journals and personal content will never be used for advertising.

5. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Because the extension and this website collect no personal data, there is typically nothing for us to retrieve or delete. For any request, contact us at [email protected]. 6. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
